Relation Between Structure Engineer and Architect

civil engineering

Structural engineers and architects both plan building projects. Both aspects are interconnected. Structural engineers think about strength and solidness when planning a structure, while engineers center more around the presence of the structure. The architecture perspective can be followed in terms of safety the building can be looked at as aesthetic as the safe there are many artificial wonders in the world which look stunning and safe too.

At some point, the architecture perspective needs some kind of modification if an architect wants a perfect curve shape then a structural engineer will do some modification and instead of providing a perfect curve we will break that curve in some points or provide some additional members so that instead of using one single member (which can be prone to different forces and moment) we will use small members and resist the various forces. But in some cases in following the architect’s design the structure becomes unnecessary and costly as well as requires more skilled work which depends on the availability so in order to make the structure safe. aesthetic and economic it will be better if the architect and structural engineer works parallelly and provide such a design to the client which fulfills the client’s expectation and is also budget-friendly.

Engineering Design and Structural Design are insignificant without one another. It is a blend of innovativeness and detail. Innovation is progressing as are the methods of Architectural and Structural Design. More assortment of development is conceivable absent a lot of problems.
